Will The Secret Circle Be Renewed For Season 2? (UPDATE)
UPDATE: Super-sad news, Secret Circle fans. The CW has canceled the show after just one season. Sob! Now we'll never know how the series could actually end — unless you read the books! Sign the petition to keep The Secret Circle on the air.
We still have a while to go before The Secret Circle’s first season draws to a close, and we can’t wait for The CW to announce whether or not they’ll pick up our favorite show in the fall!
According to Spoiler TV, an “insider” over at The CW says that Gossip Girl, America’s Next Top Model, 90210 and The Vampire Diaries will definitely be renewed next season, but unfortunately The Secret Circle is “on the bubble.” This means it may or may not be renewed depending on ratings and how many new pilots The CW plans to pick up.
Other shows on this tragic bubble include Hart of Dixie, Nikita and Ringer. But don’t give up hope just yet, fangirls. The Secret Circle brings in great ratings and has a wonderful time-slot right after The Vampire Diaries. We’d put money on its return to the small screen this fall!
